Nasnas is a being with half a human body, one arm, one leg and half a face. It laughs, leaps and survives in the borderlands where ordinary anatomy has no authority.

The Nasnas unsettles because it appears wounded without suffering. Its impossible wholeness suggests a world in which human form is only one temporary arrangement.
The oldest warnings treat contact as consequential. The danger does not end when the apparition withdraws; it may remain as altered desire, damaged judgment, recurring dreams or a relationship that has begun to serve the presence.
