Le Petit Albert is one of the most successful books of popular magic in the French-speaking world. It combines recipes, natural secrets, talismans, divination, charms and marvels under the borrowed authority of Albertus Magnus. Its contents changed across editions, reflecting the porous boundary between household knowledge and forbidden practice. The importer searches for historical French public-domain copies and preserves the source edition. Modern introductions and revised commercial editions are excluded.
