Picatrix is the Latin title of Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, The Goal of the Wise, an Arabic compendium of astral magic translated into Castilian and Latin during the Middle Ages. It joins astrology, philosophy, talismanic images, planetary invocations, materia magica and theories of cosmic influence into one of the most extensive magical systems transmitted to Europe. The ancient work is public domain, but widely circulated English translations are modern and copyrighted. The Library record is therefore published without an automatic PDF until a lawful historical-language facsimile or licensed translation is selected.

Do not attach modern English translations. A historical Arabic or Latin manuscript/edition requires separate repository verification.
