The Testament of Solomon depicts the legendary king receiving a divine ring and compelling a succession of demons to reveal their names, functions, astrological associations and the angels capable of frustrating them. The text is one of the most important bridges between late antique demonology and later Solomonic magical literature. This record seeks F. C. Conybeare’s 1898 English translation, a public-domain scholarly edition. Modern commentary and revised translations must not be substituted during automated acquisition.
